“Franklin Pierce had two great chances to take a lead just before the break as, first, a Hislop corner caromed off the cross bar. The ball fell to Sonya Hughes, but her rebound also clanged off the woodwork. The Ravens began the second half well too and appeared to have retaken the lead just five minutes into the second half. Rebecca Westbury knocked in a Hislop corner kick at the near post, but the goal was disallowed as the referee deemed Westbury’s kick dangerous as Price was scrambling.”
